Through social engaged art projects, I research the nexus of community relationships and cultural identity, aspiring to stimulate dialogue and increase understanding within our society. Resulting in creative meaningful critical art about society, that capture the spirit of a place and its people.
Duke's work is extensively exhibited in Australia, Europe and the USA. She held several solo exhibitions and regularly exhibits at art shows. Her artworks have been shown at the Thessaloniki Biennale, SVU New York, Helen Lempriere Sculpture Award and Sculpture by the Sea(Sydney). They are commissioned by councils, cultural organisations, festivals, architects and developers.
Duke's tertiary qualifications are a Masters in Fine Arts from Monash University, Melbourne and a Bachelor degree in Architectural Design from Rietveld Art Academy, Amsterdam. Her undergraduate studies were at the Academy of Photography & Video, and Fashion Design at TAFE, NL.
